Thanksgiving Is On Its Way

Thanksgiving is on its way!! I am done teaching for the year! Yeah! I start again in January.
Also in January I am starting my on line courses again. Color and Composition and Working in a Series. For more information and how to sign up for both courses please go to on line courses on my web site. I hope you have time to join in the fun and learning.
In this time off over the holidays I hope to be working on finishing one quilt and starting another, working on a line of fabric! which is very exciting and more about that later when it is confirmed. Celebrating the holidays with friends and family. I hope that you have a merry holidays too.

“Life’s Works”

Summer is here and it is certainly a different experience in Northern California than it was ever in Santa Fe New Mexico. Soooo much cooler! I love it. I just returned from a great trip showing off my quilts at my exhibition “Life’s Works” at the Vermont Quilt Festival.

I have decided to extend the great discount rates on my quilts for the month of July. So please look at the following price list and let me know if you are interested in any of the works.

Time Is Really Going Fast

The first of June already!! time is really going fast this year and I am very busy. Off to teach in Boston next week for Quilters Connection, teaching a two day Artful log cabin and a lecture and a book signing at their show. Then I drive to Greenville to teach a week long workshop on Fractured Landscapes! Haven’t taught that one in a long time but it is making a comeback and I am excited. Then home for a few days then out to the Vermont Quilt Festival where I am having a show of my life work as a quiltmaker. I will hang 45 of my quilts, old to new. If you are in the area please stop by and say hi!! Then a brake and go to my family reunion at Trinity Lake. I always look forward to that.

This past weekend my sisters and I got together to make patriotic quilts for our Veterans.

We give them to vets that we know and also the vets that are affiliated with the wonderful program at College of the Redwoods with Crystal Morse. She is awesome and so caring for their needs and she often feels they need a quilt!! and we handle that for her.

Have a great summer
