Freezing but beautiful!

Hello from freezing New Mexico. Freezing but beautiful!! Busy January with going to California to house hunt and to sew with my sisters to preparing to film two more videos for iquilt.com! One video is on my stitched paintings and the other is from my class “Watercolor to Quilt” Tons of work preparing for both. At least I can drive up to Denver where the videos are shot and can bring EVERYTHING I need from my studio.
I am hoping to be moving in a few months and I have too much STUFF! So I am having a SALE! check out the sale page under shop and see what has been moved there. Everything on that page is at least 50% off. Help me out if you buy it I won’t have to pack it.

Also working on my new book Artful Log Cabins for C&T Publishing. I have gotten quite a few images from my students to add to the book. If you have made an Artful Log Cabin send me a picture for inclusion in the book. My Video for iquilt.com on Artful Log Cabins is now airing!! I think it turned out great. let me know what you think.
Spring is coming !!
Happy creating!!

It is 2016!!

It is 2016!! I am looking forward to having a healthy year and to selling my house soon and moving to Norther California. Hmmm I said the same thing last year but I have a feeling that this year all my dreams will come true.
It will be a busy year for me with lots of travel and teaching so check out my itinerary page and see if I will be teaching at an event near you.
I will be starting my online courses again this January so check that out under the online tab on this web site.
I will be shooting two more videos for IQuilt in February. I am excited about that
Go to iquilt.com to see all of the great videos they have up and running now and don’t miss my first video on Color Theory that you might enjoy. Soon they will start running my second video on the Artful Log Cabin. That was a fun one to shoot and I hope you enjoy it too.
I am working on my 10th book!! for C&T publishing on my new class the Artful Log Cabin. It will be done then out for the public in time for the Houston Quilt Festival 2016.

It Is Cold Outside!!

It is December and it is cold outside!! I love curling up in front of the fire with a good movie or a good book. I don’t usually have teaching work in December, but this year I am teaching a week long workshop for the Hudson River Valley art workshops in Greenville New York. Stitched paintings which makes me doubly excited as I get to paint along with the students and the Greenville Arms is one of my favorite places to teach. And a great place for the students to take workshops, very homey bed and breakfast with Mark the greatest chef who keeps us full and entertained.
I am working on a commission to keep me busy the rest of the month in between shopping and enjoying the season.
Have a Very Merry Christmas
