It is the first of August 2016. I have a few months off to get settled in my new home in Fortuna California. I book my jobs generally two years out so it is amazing that the timing worked out to give me time to get settled. Please check out my itinerary to see where I will be teaching. Starting in September I will be teaching in New York, Colorado, New Mexico, and close to home in Ferndale!
In October I will be teaching my Artful Log Cabins at the Paducah Quilt Museum. and going to the Visions Opening. November ends the year with the Houston Quilt Festival and Art Quilt Tahoe. Then it is in to the Holidays when we will be hosting the Thanksgiving day meal! Somewhere in all of that I hope to work on a new major quilt in my new studio,. May the end of the summer be great for everyone.

July Is Here

Newsletter

July is here and it is time for my family reunion, this year it is at Trinity Lake in Northern California. I am so looking forward to it and this year I can drive their rather than fly from New Mexico. I am all moved into my house in Fortuna California and loving it. A bit more to do on the studios upstairs before I can post pictures but it is coming along. Soon we will hang all of our art and such on the walls. I am hoping that in July I will finaly be able to begin a new art quilt that has been waiting patiently for me to have time and energy to work on it. All and all things are going very well. I hope you have a great summer!

June Is A Beautiful Month

Newsletter

June is a beautiful month in my new home. Foggy in the morning and sunny in the afternoon, most of the time. I am getting settled in to my new address. 3236 Church St. Fortuna, CA 95540. First I am organizing the down stairs which is the living area and my husband is organizing his shop in the back, when that is all in place and I am getting close then I will begin on the upstairs which will house my quilt studio and my paint studio. I hope. Right now it is really scary with all of the boxes and quilts and fabrics and canvas and paints all mixed up filling one half to the brim!! I will post pictures when it is picture perfect!! I will be teaching exclusively in Humboldt County at Stitches in Ferndale and I am looking forward to that very much. Family is all around me and I am going to be very happy
